![]() Someimes they'd start using it in a weird way, like someone would basically be chatting like everyone else, but they'd do !unlurk before every message and !lurk after every message lol. Over the years, I had Twitch newbies or casuals ask me what the !lurk command was, being confused, and I'd have to explain it. Sometimes I noticed a train effect where one person would do it and then several other people would do it behind them. I'm a cozy game streamer so a lot of people like to lurk for y'know cozy vibes I guess (which is fine), but it can be a lot of !lurks. Part of the reason why I had mixed feelings and took my !lurk command away is that I felt like it could get kinda spammy and distracting in certain circumstances. I have mixed feelings about !lurk but for the most part, overall it's cool and no biggie, whatever people wanna do. Thanks to /u/iTruthful and Conceptional for the art! Think back to times where you’ve remembered things effortlessly, such as emotes or the names of Pokémon, and try to re-create that environment for your study time. Sitting at a desk, quietly rewriting a text line by line might sound studious, but without emotional engagement it likely won’t stick. As a result, practicing in low-stress situations where you’ll feel happy, able to laugh at your mistakes, and carry on is key to success.
